 I had the paint and bodywork done at Rob's Custom Hot Rods in Parksville.  It has a very discreet red metalflake that only shows up as accents in direct sunlight - most of the time it looks gloss black.  I had a new rear window sewn and fitted by an ex-BMW factory man who retired here and does custom marine work.  It has 170,000 kms on the clock and we only put on about 2 - 3,000 kms a year (being 6'2" long road trips are avoided - about 2 hours is my max!).
