I have driven a miata since 1990, I prefer the originals I have had as many as five at a time ,different years , colors etc.all first generation.but now only have my daily driver 93LE.I love this car !!!! I looked at it when they were new but was just out of college and not in a position to buy new.I searched for about seven years to find this one , No.1457 in Wetumpka AL. Had belonged to a guy named Doug Middleton, who traded it for another Miata to the man I purchased it from , found it on Autotrader, called back and forth relentlessly asking for details, met in Birmingham. It was the one. Just what I had been questing for condition and price. It has everything still with it all original goodies intact, I have modified and upgraded to my taste It is a keeper. My wife calls him Fitz, short for Fitzgerald.He is spoiled, but needs to be painted soon. great daily runabout. No. 200 is gone and parted out' I bought some parts from Miata Godfather. His place is amazing , he has many other 93LE's parted out all over his property as well as other first gen cars. He is not far from Chattanooga.
